About me

Hi, I´m Juan Antonio!

Professional with a background in Game Design and Development, combining a technical and creative mindset with a strong motivation to keep growing in the technology field.

My experience in interactive environments has shaped a user-centred way of working, bringing together interface design, user experience, accessibility, programming and technical problem-solving.

I am interested in creating digital solutions that are useful, clear and easy to use, not only from a technical perspective, but also considering the people who will interact with them.

I have knowledge of project management, requirements analysis, modular design, testing, version control, technical and functional documentation, and digital application development.

I aim to continue applying this mix of creativity and technical knowledge in information systems and digital transformation environments, contributing a fresh, practical and continuous-improvement-oriented perspective.

I have knowledge of project management, requirements analysis, modular design, testing, version control, technical and functional documentation, and digital application development.I am also especially interested in continuing to learn and deepen my knowledge in areas such as cybersecurity, software architecture and other key fields within the technology sector.

Services

I can perform in various technical and artistic aspects, I have clear preferences but I am willing to learn or improve skills that I do not have so developed.
When it comes to my work, I am clear about my design guidelines.

UX Research & Design

The user experience is like plunging into a lucid dream where reality blends with fantasy and the player's pulse beats to the rhythm of the surrounding environment.

Therein lies the difficulty of this field, and it is up to the developer to make the user be immersed in a pleasant, enjoyable and interactive experience that brings them some value.

UI Design

User interface design is the bridge between people and technology: the element that turns complex systems into clear, intuitive and accessible experiences. A well-designed interface should guide the user naturally, reduce friction and make digital services easier to understand and use.

I focus on designing interfaces that respect usability and accessibility principles, combining visual clarity, coherence and functional structure. My goal is to create digital environments that feel simple, organised and meaningful, allowing users to interact with applications, platforms and information systems without feeling overwhelmed by complexity.

Accesibility

I have a good knowledge of the Game Accessibility Guidelines and the WCAG digital standard because of my TFG, which is dedicated to the analysis of accessibility within the video game industry .

Also, in my curricular internship work experience with the company Mental Gaming I participated in the development process of a video game for children with ASD .

Project Management

A digital project is not only about reaching a final delivery, but about guiding ideas, people and technology through a clear and evolving path. Project management helps transform complexity into structure, ensuring that every requirement, task and decision is aligned with the real needs of the project.

Through agile methodologies, continuous feedback and constant follow-up, this field allows teams to adapt, improve and deliver value step by step. I focus on coordinating work, tracking progress, prioritising tasks and encouraging continuous improvement to help projects grow with purpose, efficiency and quality. Good project management turns change into progress.

Rapid Application Development

Technology becomes truly valuable when it transforms complex processes into simple, efficient and reliable experiences. Through visual development platforms and automation tools, it is possible to turn business needs into practical digital solutions with agility and precision.

This field allows me to combine technical thinking, process analysis and user-centred design to create applications, workflows and internal tools that improve efficiency, reduce manual work and support digital transformation within an organisation.

Quality Assurance

I enjoy analysing digital products in depth, understanding how they work, how users interact with them and where their experience can be improved. Since completing my university degree, I have developed a more critical and structured approach to evaluating interfaces, workflows and technical behaviour.

Through my final degree project, I gained experience in identifying usability and accessibility issues, from minor friction points to more significant barriers that can affect the user experience. I am especially interested in applying this analytical mindset to information systems, corporate applications and digital services, supporting testing, issue detection, documentation and continuous improvement.

My Teams

Video game studios with which I have done some of the above work.

Team Chubby Cat

We are 5 developers and designers and during this last year we launched Chess: Holy War on Itch.io, CyberHell for Android and developed the Artifical Intelligence project Boo-Boo-School.

Mental Gaming

During my internship in this company I participated in the still developing project Titan El Audaz, the educational video game for children with ASD.

Tizona Games

Tizona Games is an independent development group formed by the union of 9 members passionate about the world of video games and their development.

Having participated in several HackJams, hosted by 42Madrid and Madrid in Game, we have some experience working together on small projects, and we want to take a step forward to settle in the scene.
